Mercy Meal Guidelines
In times of need, our Parish is dedicated to providing support and comfort to our members and their families. We understand that during challenging times, having a meal ready can be a tremendous relief. To assist with this, we offer Mercy Meals under certain conditions and guidelines:
When Can a Mercy Meal Be Provided?
A Mercy Meal can be arranged if:
1. The Ladies Guild Members Are Available: Our compassionate Ladies Guild members are willing to prepare the meal with love and care.
2. The Hall and Kitchen Are Available: The Parish Hall and its kitchen facilities are accessible for meal preparation and service.
3. Adequate Notice Is Given: We kindly request sufficient notice to ensure that the meal can be prepared to meet your needs.
4. Providing Guest Count: To assist us in our preparations, please provide the best possible count of the guests who will be joining the meal.
- Cost: The cost of each meal is $15.00 per person. Children under the age of 3 can enjoy their meal for free.
- Menu: Our Mercy Meal includes a delightful spread of:
- Fried chicken
- Meatless loubieh with rice
- Tossed salad
- Lebanese bread
If there are specific dietary preferences or additional food items you'd like to include, please let us know. Any additional costs incurred due to customizations will be added to the base price.
At our Parish, we believe in the power of community and supporting one another during times of need. If you or someone you know could benefit from a Mercy Meal, please reach out to us, and we will do our best to provide comfort through nourishment.
For Mercy Meal requests or inquiries, please contact the Parish office at
330-509-0098 well in advance.
Note: St. Tobias Members Receive Mercy Meals at No Cost
For our beloved St. Tobias members, there is no charge for Mercy Meals. The church is honored to cover the expenses.
Thank you for being part of our caring and compassionate Parish community.
With blessings and love,
Our Lady of the Cedars parish
